Yes, really.
I love visiting museums, and am going to try and visit a museum a day and let you in on what I find; if the classic exhibits are as expected, what hidden treats to look for, are their child friendly exhibits, and such. Maybe you can use it as precursor to planning your own visit, perhaps I'll find something you missed, or maybe it can just be a vicarious experience.
Living near Washington, D.C. means that I have a wealth of museums at my disposal, many of them with free admission. I plan to start at the Smithsonian, but will branch out from there. My definition of museum may vary to include historic homes, gardens, zoos and aquariums,- any learning experience that focuses on saving our treasures and history for study later.
